Our Work in the Community

L.P. Murray & Sons, Inc. prides itself on giving back to our community. We donate labor and materials to a number of local projects and organizations.

• Invited the Cape Elizabeth Elementary and Middle School Robotics Club to visit Skip Murray at his gravel pit in Cape Elizabeth to learn about the mechanics and functions of large equipment
• Completed the Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth pathway project – a MDOT and Town of Cape Elizabeth project
• Donated materials towards the pathway at the Fort Williams Arboretum
• Donated thousands in trail work at Gull Crest and donated various labor and equipment at other sites around town to help build bridges for the Town of Cape Elizabeth Conservation Commission
• Donated trail work, labor, and materials for the Town of Cape Elizabeth Gull Crest Trail System
• Leadership Circle for donating money to the Cape Land Trust every year to aid in the preservation of open space in Cape Elizabeth
• Donated funds to the Cape Elizabeth Educational Foundation
• Sponsored events and donated funds to Cape Elizabeth Sports Teams and Clubs
• Sponsored the Cape Strawberry Festival to support the Farm Alliance and the “Go Local” campaign
• Member of the Better Business Bureau
