Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment AND vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. 3 years experience minimum. Your own tools are not necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles

- state inspections license preferred but not required.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, both mechanical and electrical
- Conduct diesel engine repairs and maintenance
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs
- Assemble and disassemble equipment components as needed
- Perform brake repairs and replacements
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various types of equipment
- Experience with diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in using power tools and other specialized equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience as a service technician or similar role is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
