    The Cape Elizabeth elementary and middle school robotics club visits Skip Murray at his gravel pit in Cape Elizabeth to learn about the mechanics and functions of large equipment.

L.P. Murray & Sons prides itself on giving back to our community. We donate labor and materials to a number of local projects and organizations:

  • We invited the Cape Elizabeth elementary and middle school robotics club to visit Skip Murray at his gravel pit in Cape Elizabeth to learn about the mechanics and functions of large equipment.
  • 2012 completed the Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth pathway project – a $900,000.00 MDOT and Town of Cape Elizabeth project
  • Arboretum at Fort Williams 2011 — donated funds and constructed and produced a $7,000 pathway
  • Conservation Commission, Town of Cape Elizabeth — donated thousands in trail work at Gull Crest and various labor and equipment at other sites around town to help build bridges
  • Gull Crest Trail System, Town of Cape Elizabeth – donated $8,000.00 of trail work labor and product for nordic ski trails/walking trails/hiking trails
  • Cape Land Trust — Leadership Circle for donating money every year to aid in preservation of open space in Cape Elizabeth
  • Cape Elizabeth Educational Foundation — donated funds
  • Cape Elizabeth Sports Teams and Clubs — donated funds, sponsored events
  • Sponsored the Cape Strawberry Festival to support the Farm Alliance and the “Go Local” campaign
  • Member of the Cape Business Alliance and the Better Business Bureau
